National heartbreak rang out when the viral bodycam footage was released to the world, reaching communities that cherished Julianelle’s content under the famed YouTube channel PopularMMOs.
In 2024, Patrick Julianelle was arrested, sparking a national outcry as to what had happened. A year later, when the footage was released, many community members expressed concern for the Minecraft legend and sought out information on how to send a letter.
We are giving those a chance to share their supportive thoughts and feelings towards Pat to encourage his mental well-being as a community.
An important message about virtual letters
Although Pat may never reach this virtual letter, the messages left reflect the deep support and care the community feels toward him. This letter stands as a collective effort by a compassionate community to remind someone that healing is possible — and that taking care of yourself and seeking help matters. Everyone who leaves or has left a message is part of the fight against the weight of mental health struggles.
A community virtual letter will be posted to give chances to those who may not have been able to send a comment in time.
Inappropriate and hateful messages will not be included and will go through a review.

Hey Pat, I don’t write letters or messages like these often but I feel obligated to do this for you. I genuinely don’t remember much from my childhood, I’m assuming I blocked most of it out. But i do remember the joy you and other YouTubers did give me. It was primarily you though. You were my favorite and dude I remember combing your channel and all the new uploads WHENEVER you’d post. Absolutely loved your videos. You helped me block out a lot of the bad in my life when I was a kid. I remember being left at different houses of people I didn’t know so my parent can go party. I remember being in shelters with my siblings and it didn’t matter to me because I had you. Im an adult now and I’ve recently finished my 3 year contract in the army. I was a paratrooper (11C). When I got out I had such a hard time acclimating back into society. I had destroyed most of my relationships and almost ended my marriage because of how set in my ways I was. I was so mean. My mental health was in the fucking garbage and I genuinely felt so alone even though I had a wife. I am so lucky she never gave up on me because I was horrible. I’m telling you this because I want you to see it through man. See this hard times through because you’ve got all of us rooting for you. If you ever need a place to stay or a friend to reach out to. Reach out and I’ll be there just like you were all those years. You owe us nothing, not even an explanation but we AT LEAST owe you our open arms. I don’t know you Patrick but I know you so well at the same time. Thank you for everything. I’m rooting for you every step of the way.
